DPWH to allow vehicles of up to three tons to pass San Juanico Bridge
Citing deteriorating structural integrity, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) says only light vehicles or those weighing a maximum of three tons will be allowed to pass the 2.16-kilometer San Juanico Bridge that connects Sta. Rita, Samar to Tacloban City. The government announced plans to build a new bridge to replace the 45-year-old structure.
