Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while chairing the NITI Aayog meeting, urged states to accelerate development efforts to realize the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. He called on chief ministers to build "future-ready" cities and develop at least one globally competitive tourist destination in each state.
