The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has expressed its appreciation to media practitioners for their continued cooperation in delivering accurate and reliable information to the public, contributing to national security and harmony.
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, speaking at the IGP's Appreciation Ceremony with the Media in Bukit Aman on Monday (May 26), said the media plays a crucial role in conveying PDRM’s efforts to uphold the Constitution and enforce the law fairly across all segments of society.
He added that PDRM recognises the media not only as information providers and the voice of the people, but also as observers who can offer constructive feedback to help improve the police force’s service delivery.
