Despite distinct national backgrounds, Malaysia and China share common values that continue to underpin a strong and enduring bilateral relationship, said Prime Minister’s political secretary Chan Ming Kai.
Speaking at the Asean-China Economic Forum & the Third China International Supply Chain Expo Roadshow on Monday (May 26), Chan also highlighted the importance of Tan Sri Low Kian Chuan’s appointment as chairman of the Malaysia-China Business Council (MCBC), calling it a timely move to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
Meanwhile, Ren Hongbin, president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), reaffirmed China’s deep commitment to Asean, underscoring the region’s strategic importance in China’s broader economic agenda.
