Former Taipei Mayor's Detention in Corruption Trial Extended to August 1

Former Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je's detention in an ongoing corruption trial has been extended another two months. The Taipei District Court cited the risk of collusion in its decision, but Ko's Taiwan People's Party is calling the ruling unacceptable.
