Jaipur (Rajasthan), May 29, 2025 (ANI) : The soaring temperatures have been troubling not only people , but also the animals around .In Jaipur’s Hathi Gaon, special measures are being taken to protect the elephants from the scorching heat . The aim is to protect the elephants from the extreme temperatures, focusing on providing shade, water, and reducing strenuous activity. The specific changes in routine, such as increased water access are implemented to ensure their comfort and safety during the scorching weather. The giants are being fed watermelon, muskmelon, sugarcane and rice twice a day. The measures also include providing cool showers and water sprinklers.
