Popular British sausage roll gets figure at Madame Tussauds London
Greggs sausage roll, a much loved British snack, has been immortalized with its own figure at the wax museum of Madame Tussauds in London. The tourist attraction, known for its wax figures of celebrities, royals and others, said on May 29, 2025 the replica of the flaky savory pastry with meat was the first time a food item had been given the treatment usually reserved for the famous. It will go on display in the museum’s Culture Capital Zone besides figures of naturalist David Attenborough, playwright William Shakespeare and rapper Stormzy on June 5 - National Sausage Roll Day.
