The incident is thought to have occurred in the early hours of this morning, Friday, May 30, at Brunel Industrial Estate.
The details are not clear, however videos on social media shows a forklift flipping a vehicle.
It is further alleged that persons were inside the vehicle when it was flipped, possibly a father and son, but this too has yet to be confirmed.
The Mid-Devon Advertiser has approached Devon & Cornwall Police for comment.
