The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will implement two new regulations from June 1, focusing on tyre tread depth and technical specifications for heavy and commercial vehicles.
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said tipper or dumper lorries will no longer be allowed to have side guards that exceed the maximum permitted height of 762 millimetres.
