McCallum made history as the first Jamaican to become a world boxing champion and was one of the few fighters to win world titles in three weight divisions: WBA light middleweight, WBA middleweight, and WBC light heavyweight. His professional record boasts 49 wins, including 36 by knockout, five losses, and one draw. Known for his devastating body punches, McCallum earned his nickname "The Bodysnatcher." His remarkable career and contributions to boxing were recognized with his induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2003.
