Gospel icon Kirk Franklin appeared on The Culture Shift to open up about his groundbreaking new partnership with Insignia Assets on a completely Black-owned entertainment venture that brings Franklin’s Fo Yo Soul Recordings and CLTRE Lab under the Insignia umbrella. As the newly appointed Chief of Creative Services, Franklin shares his vision for empowering Black artistry and ownership in entertainment. The announcement comes just ahead of Franklin receiving the prestigious BET Ultimate Icon Award at the 2025 BET Awards on June 9.
