Guwahati ( Assam ) , June 03, 2025 (ANI): Lok Sabha MP Gaurav Gogoi took charge as the Assam Congress president at Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati. He was handed over the reins by outgoing president Bhupen Kumar Borah. “We hope to establish Congress-led govt. in Assam”, Gaurav Gogoi said in a statement. He further stressed that “his party is gaining more support among the people of the state and will grow stronger in the coming days”.
