With the full naval and air invasion of Alathea underway by Republic of Sadia forces, Burma Company is preparing to airlift to the North of the country to join Alathean defence forces. However, with limited NATO forces in the region the infantry of 4th IB must fight a delaying action against Sadia’s armored and marine units to try and give enough time for NATO forces to mobilise and deploy.

Brief Backstorey:
At 10:00 on Monday, August 26th, the Republic of Sadia (RoS) launched a large-scale military attack on Alathea, a NATO partner. RoS forces began with missile strikes, air raids, and artillery targeting both military and civilian areas. Ground troops, including infantry, tanks, and armored vehicles, were deployed along Alathea’s northern coast.
In response, NATO has activated Article 5, pledging to defend Alathea. The UK's 2 YORKS Battlegroup, already in the area for Exercise IVER, has been reassigned to respond immediately. Additional NATO forces will join later, but the surprise attack means the full response will take time. The 2 YORKS will focus on delaying the RoS advance, defending key locations, and supporting Alathea until NATO can mobilize further.
