The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, June 8, raised a heavy rainfall warning for Metro Manila and several other provinces due to the ongoing effects of a Low-Pressure Area (LPA) and the southwest monsoon (habagat).
