Just in time for the 2025 holiday season, ASUS and Microsoft are jointly launching two new handheld consoles: the ROG Xbox Ally and the more powerful ROG Xbox Ally X. These devices combine the advantages of the Xbox ecosystem with the open structure of Windows 11, opening up a new era of mobile gaming.
Both models rely on AMD's new Ryzen Z2 processor architecture and are designed to offer a balance between performance, battery life and visual quality.
The ROG Xbox Ally is equipped with a Ryzen Z2 A processor, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD storage - ideal for gamers who don't want to miss out on Xbox quality on the go.
The ROG Xbox Ally X, on the other hand, is aimed at demanding users. With the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24 GB high-speed RAM and 1 TB SSD, the device not only offers more storage space, but also higher frame rates, more intelligent system functions and an even smoother gaming experience. Particular emphasis is placed on the native integration of Xbox functionality with simultaneous openness through Windows 11 - including the use of Xbox Game Pass, PC games and other Windows applications.
