Jaipur (Rajasthan), June 14, 2025 (ANI): Speaking on 'One Nation, One Election', Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said "A Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) has been formed on the 'One Nation, One Election' initiative. When I presented the bill in the Lok Sabha, there was a demand from the Opposition to constitute this JPC. We are already part of the committee. Our MP from Pali, PP Chaudhary, is the Chairperson of the JPC. He has conducted several meetings in Delhi, collected testimonies from various people, and taken feedback from other states as well. He has made efforts to convey that 'One Nation, One Election' is in the national interest. Also, the Rajasthan government has taken some steps towards implementing the concept of 'One State, One Election'."
