Raipur (Chhattisgarh), June 15, 2025 (ANI): BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla on June 15 informed that two matches i.e. India and South Africa and India and New Zealand will be played in Chhattisgarh. He also called it a great achievement for Raipur. “We are in favour of promoting cricket in Chhattisgarh. Two matches will be played in Chhattisgarh, one between India and South Africa and the other between India and New Zealand. This is a great achievement for Raipur. We are trying to promote cricket here...,” said Rajeev Shukla. “Naxalism is a problem which all the governments are fighting. Whether it was Manmohan Singh's govt or PM Modi's govt. Naxalism is an issue that is fought by a policy. When Bhupesh Baghel was the Chief Minister here, a package from the central govt was given to fight with Naxalism...,” he added.
