Bhadrak (Odisha), June 15, 2025 (ANI): IMD Director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra on June 15 informed that long-period average rainfall is likely to occur. He also said that Normal rainfall is expected in different states of the country except in Northeast India, Ladakh, and adjoining areas. “...There is some good news for India. There is a possibility of more rain than usual. A long-period average rainfall will likely occur. Normal rainfall is expected in different states of the country except in Northeast India, Ladakh, and adjoining areas, where below-normal rainfall is possible. This will be very beneficial for the agriculture sector, water resources industry, and power sector,” said Mrutyunjay Mohapatra.
