Pune (Maharashtra), June 15, 2025 (ANI): A bridge in Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad collapsed on Indrayani river near Kundamala village police station on June 15. The rescue operation is underway. DCP Zone 2, Pimpri Chinchwad, Vishal Gaikwad shared the situation. He said the situation is under control, the iron bridge was too old. He said, "This was an old dilapidated iron bridge that collapsed around 4 PM. According to the preliminary information, 2 people have died and around 5-7 rescued people have been sent to the hospital... NDRF and local police have been deployed for the rescue operation..."
