To strengthen disaster preparedness during public emergencies, Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil has launched the Mobile Integrated Radio and Internet Communication System (Prime).
Speaking at the launch at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Centre of Excellence in Cyberjaya on Monday (June 16), Fahmi said the system was developed by MCMC as a strategic support tool to maintain communications during emergency operations.
