The mid-north coast region of New South Wales is still recovering after last month's heavy rain flooded the region. The town of Kempsey is expected to see its recovery centre open until July as relief efforts continue. Kempsey Shire Mayor Kinne Ring says the council will waive interest rates for flood impacted residents but that it will come at a price.
