The Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) is a distinctive cross-border initiative that has drawn international interest as a new economic dynamo, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Nikkei Forum in Iskandar Puteri on Thursday (June 19), Anwar acknowledged that while other countries may offer more attractive incentives, few possess Malaysia’s combination of political stability, a united coalition, and a willingness to confront past missteps while implementing transparent, forward-looking policies.
