Jammu ( J&K ) , June 19, 2025 ( ANI ) : National Conference Chief and Jammu and Kashmir former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah lauded Operation Sindhu under which 110 Indian students were evacuated from war torn Iran. A flight carrying the Indian students evacuated from war-hit Iran landed safely in Delhi on Thursday morning. The former CM also praised PM Modi and External Affairs’ Minister S Jaishankar."The central government, especially the Prime Minister and Jaishankar ji, have done a very good job of bringing all these people and will bring back the remaining ones as well. They have done a great job”, he said in a statement. Speaking on the Israel-Iran conflict, he said "No war is good for humans. Its consequences are bad. What can be achieved through talks cannot be achieved through war. Let them fight as much as they can."
