Every two months, the Malacca City Council organises a collection drive to collect recyclable waste.
For used cooking oil, the City Council works together with Evergreen Oil and Feed in their Waste to Wealth programme, which pays members of the public who sell their oil to Evergreen for RM3 per kg.
The company then processes the oil into sustainable aviation fuel.
