Anantnag (J&K), June 24, 2025 (ANI): Speaking to ANI on US President Donald J Trump’s announcement of Israel-Iran Ceasefire, JKNC chief Farooq Abdullah thanked almighty. He said that now nobody has surrendered before anyone, neither Iran nor America.He said, "I am thankful to the Almighty if there is indeed a ceasefire, it is good. Innocent people were being killed...Nobody has surrendered before anyone, neither Iran nor America. But out of humanity, they said that this should be stopped. This would have impacted their economy, and the economy of rest of the world...This was a global pressure on America, to end this."Further on the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, he said, "...We hope that devotees have a darshan of Bholenath happily, return to their homes and say how good the people are and what beauty has the Almighty blessed this place with."
