Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman breathed a sigh of relief after five challenging years as his conviction and sentence concerning multiple corruption charges came to an end on Wednesday (June 25).
At a press conference accompanied by his parents and family members, the tearful Muar MP said he was thankful after enduring years of adversity, blackmail, and bribery, and reaffirmed his commitment to public service and his principles.
Asked about his future, Syed Saddiq said he would spend time with his family and left the decision of rejoining Muda’s leadership to the party.
