Nxled prevails over Peter Gazz
Lyann De Guzman authored an emphatic professional debut to lead Nxled to a 25-23, 19-25, 19-25, 25-15, 15-10 win against Petro Gazz at the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) preseason tournament at the Batangas City Sports Center on Saturday, June 28.
De Guzman unleashed 21 points including a slew of key hits in the fourth frame to send the match into a decider, where the Chameleons took control over the Angels who played without MJ Phillips and reigning MVP Brooke Van Sickle.
Phillips and Van Sickle are with the Alas Pilipinas which is competing at the VTV Cup in Vietnam.
Chiara Permentilla delivered the finishing touches as she scored four of Nxled's last four points to finish with 10 markers.
