The Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for June 30, 2025, following heavy rainfall in several parts of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. The district administration urged residents to stay alert and avoid going near rivers and drains to prevent loss of life or property. As a precautionary measure, schools in Manali and Banjar subdivisions have been ordered to remain closed.
