Firozabad (UP), July 05, 2025 (ANI): Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar backed Bihar electoral roll revision, saying that it was a general practice and that voter list needs to be updated. “As part of law, before every election, the voter list needs to be updated... A detailed investigation of the voter list and all details of the voters was not done after 1 January 2003. This is supposed to be a general practice... Nearly every political party complained about issues in the authenticity of the voter list, and demanded updations... More than 1 lakh booth-level officers are working on it with the support of all political parties", he said.
