The Human Resources Ministry has received only one complaint from a bus driver this year regarding a company failing to comply with the minimum wage of RM1,700.
Responding to questions on Thursday (July 10) about whether the ministry had received reports of bus drivers being underpaid, Human Resources Minister Steven Sim said the Labour Department continuously monitors and conducts inspections to ensure full compliance with labour laws, including the enforcement of the minimum wage.
