Peter Siegfried Krug, born on November 23, 1966 in Salzburg, is an Austrian chess composer, yoga teacher, and photographer. 
Career and Life 
Chess Composition: He achieved the title of FIDE Master in Chess Composition in 2017. Composing chess studies and problems was a way for him to process his traumatic childhood. 
Yoga: After a period of working as a cinema projectionist and night porter, he began practicing yoga due to stress and sleep disorders. He completed training as a yoga teacher around 2003. 
Photography: Krug also works as a photographer, particularly in the field of landscape and portrait photography. He achieved "MASTER" status on the "GuruShots" platform. 
Private Life: He spent his early childhood in homes and foster families. Only as an adult did he learn that his biological father was a doctor. He has lived in Hallein near Salzburg since 2016. 
Personal Beliefs 
Yoga: In his contributions to the Yoga Vidya community, he describes yoga as a path to greater honesty and a way to renounce unnecessary things, such as prestige or recognition. 
Sociopolitical: He has expressed criticism of sanctions, war, and the vaccination debate, advocating nonviolence following the example of Gandhi.
