15 year old drowns in River Kelvin
A 15-year-old boy is among four people who died in incidents on Scotland’s hottest day of the year.
Emergency crews and a police helicopter were called to the River Kelvin near Maryhill Road in Glasgow on Saturday after receiving reports of a person in the water at around 6.40pm.
The body of a 15-year-old was recovered around five hours later.
Police Scotland said inquiries into his death were ongoing, though it is not being treated as suspicious.
