Malaysia will never allow any party to use the country as a platform for recruiting members or collecting funds for terrorist activities, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.
Commenting on the recent success of police in dismantling a terrorist cell linked to fundraising and recruitment for the Islamic State (IS) in Syria and Bangladesh, Saifuddin praised the intelligence efforts of enforcement agencies.
Speaking after the Home Ministry’s monthly assembly on Wednesday (July 16), he stressed that authorities are fully prepared to take firm and decisive action against any threat to national security.
