The only name ever presented to the Conference of Malay Rulers for the Chief Justice’s position was Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said the chaos caused by the opposition and other parties before the judicial appointment to the top post was unnecessary. He clarified that he was simply awaiting the consent of the Malay Rulers.
