TIGER SALAMANDERS THRIVING IN ALPINE LAKES
WITH VID

Watch as a rare footage captured in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains shows Tiger Salamanders (Ambystoma tigrinum) living in their natural alpine habitat.
Brianna Cerione, an agriculture inspector from New Jersey, USA filmed the video while exploring a high-altitude lake, where she encountered these uniquely adapted amphibians.
Unlike their lowland counterparts, which typically undergo metamorphosis and transition to land, these salamanders remained in their aquatic form even into adulthood.
Posted on Instagram, one user commented: "Me and my then girlfriend made our relationship official at this lake. She is now my wife.”
