Sharon Osbourne and family greet crowd at funeral cortege for Ozzy Osbourne
Music manager Sharon Osbourne laid flowers in honor of her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, during the funeral cortege in the Black Sabbath frontman’s home city of Birmingham, on Wednesday, July 30.
Sharon Osbourne was accompanied by her children, Kelly, Jack, Aimee and Ozzy's children from his previous marriage, Jessica and Luis. The family were visibly emotional as she laid the floral tribute at a bench and bridge named after Black Sabbath, before raising a peace sign to the crowd of chanting fans.
Known to fans as "The Prince of Darkness" and the "Godfather of Heavy Metal," Osbourne died on July 22 at the age of 76.
Just weeks before, he and his band Black Sabbath delighted tens of thousands of fans with an emotional farewell gig on July 5 at Villa Park stadium.
