Check out the intense moment this bride and her bridal party had to run through a mall to fix her already-on dress an hour before the ceremony.
Bridesmaid, Emillie Cecillon, 29, filmed the chaos unfold as Sam, the bride, 29, and the rest of her party ran through a nearby mall, all due to her zipper breaking.
The bridal party, all panicked, had to hold up Sam's dress as they ran, to keep it wedding-ready, while they attempted to find someone to fix the zipper.
Fortunately, Sam and the rest of the bridesmaids managed to make it back in time, zipper fixed, for the wedding which went without problems.
This footage was filmed in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on the 2nd of August 2025.
Emillie, from Ontario, Canada, said: “Sam (the bride) is running through the mall after the seamstress sewed her into her dress after the zipper broke an hour before her wedding!”
"We had to run through the closest mall to find a seamstress to fix it.
“The seamstress was amazing and got the zipper fixed and we got back with about 15 mins to spare!
“So tight but enough time to fix the hair before we walked down the aisle!
"It was scary.
"The day was beautiful, and everything was going way too smoothly. We had just started taking getting-ready photos, and the bridesmaids were all waiting outside for a first look, which was taking longer than expected.
"That’s when Sam’s sister, The MOH, came out and told us the zipper was completely stuck. It wouldn’t go up or down, even with Sam out of the dress. That’s when all hell kind of broke loose.
"We grabbed the dress, Sam’s mom, another bridesmaid, and bolted for the car.
"The whole ride was spent trying to keep Sam calm, reassuring her that it would be okay and that someday, this would just be a hilarious story to tell her kids. The seamstress was 20 minutes away in the sketchiest mall imaginable, but it was so worth it.
"I honestly blacked out from the adrenaline and have no idea what kind of wizardry he pulled off.
Next thing we know, we’re sprinting through the mall. Sam in a full-on wedding gown, us in bridesmaid dresses and heels, full glam, hair done, dodging mall walkers in a building that has a constant underlying pee smell. I pulled out my phone and just started filming because the whole thing looked absolutely unhinged.
"I'm positive most people thought Sam was a runaway bride.
It was chaos, but Sam handled it like an absolute champ.
"We made it back with about 20 minutes to spare. We even managed to sneak in a shot before walking down the aisle and got the vibes back up by scream-singing Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. And now to top it all off we’ve got an amazing story to go along with a beautiful day and ceremony that honestly otherwise was absolutely perfect!"
