A breathtaking lightning strike lit up the New York City skyline and one lucky videographer was there to catch it in action.
The footage shows both a slow‑motion and real‑time capture of lightning hitting near the Empire State Building, creating a spectacular display against the night sky.
Anthony Alden Sevilla from New York, USA, managed to record the incredible moment from the perfect vantage point.
The dramatic bolt crackles across the sky before striking near the famous skyscraper, leaving viewers in awe of the rare sight.
