CDA Declares 99 Housing Societies Illegal in Islamabad – Shocking Revelation!
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) officially identified 99 housing societies in and around Islamabad as illegal, citing a lack of layout plan approvals and valid No Objection Certificates (NOCs)
Authorities have escalated action, planning to add sponsors and owners of these unauthorized schemes to the Exit Control List (ECL) and coordinating with NADRA for name verification.
Earlier in 2025, CDA had also ramped up enforcement: banning building material supplies to illegal societies, sealing unauthorized offices, and issuing legal notices to developers.
