Protesters set Nepal parliament building on fire
Protestors vandalized and set fire to Nepal's parliament building in Kathmandu on Tuesday, September 9, amid anti-corruption demonstrations across the country.
Demonstrators defied an indefinite curfew and clashed with police a day after 19 people died in violent protests triggered by a social media ban.
Prime Minister, K.P. Sharma Oli, also resigned on Tuesday, the same day protestors vandalized and set fire to his private residence.
Oli's government lifted the social ban after protests intensified on Monday, with police firing tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters trying to storm parliament.
