Miss Asia Pacific International to be held in Cebu
Cebu will host the Miss Asia Pacific International 2025 pageant on Oct. 8, 2025, with the province named as one of the event’s co-presenters. Cebu first hosted the international pageant in 1994. Miss Asia Pacific International President Eva Psychee Patalinjug told The Manila Times that delegates will tour around Cebu to immerse themselves in its culture, heritage, and destinations. Officials formalized the hosting during a press conference and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing at the Cebu Capitol on Sept. 10, 2025. Gov. Pamela Baricuatro welcomed Patalinjug, who previously won Mutya ng Pilipinas and Binibining Pilipinas titles, and Vice President Jacqueline Tan-Sainz to the ceremony and affirmed that the international event would draw significant attention to Cebu. Patalinjug, who previously won Mutya ng Pilipinas and Binibining Pilipinas titles, represented the Philippines at the Miss Grand International pageant in Thailand in 2018.
