Farmers from the province of Bulacan, joined by students from Bulacan State University, stage a protest on Friday, September 19, in front of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bulacan First District Engineering Office in Malolos. The demonstrators denounced alleged corruption and misuse of government funds, particularly in flood control projects that they claim have worsened flooding in farms and schools.
