Nicholas has provided WooGlobe with gripping footage offering a glimpse of his brave efforts to battle what has been dubbed the largest wildfire in California this year.
"Heading out to the Gifford Fire," Nicholas told WooGlobe. "Passed by this section burning on the way to get water to drop on the fire."
Filmed from inside a firefighting helicopter, the video clearly captures the raging blaze below, showing the intensity of the flames even from high above.
