Daydé — Daydé 1971 (France, Psychedelic,Blues Rock)
Pretty close to being a recommended listen, if anything, for a nice bluesy rock experience, but mostly with the acoustic guitar.
When Joel wants to do his thing and give you the electric part of the band, that's not too bad either, and everybody loves the blues, or the blues root anyhow.
Thank God for the blues.
It spawned so many, some better than others...Joel Dayde may be "others", but the music never really disappoints, just falls short.
Dayde is an album of hard folk, acoustic blues rock songs, fingerpickin', and an attempt at standard rock.
It's not bad, and Joel tried, but not essential.
