Residents in Manila on Friday (Sept 26) took precautions by moving into evacuation centres as Severe Tropical Storm Bualoi, locally known as Opong, barrelled closer.
The severe storm is expected to intensify into a typhoon as it sweeps west-northwest with sustained winds of 110 kilometres per hour.
