चेन्नई पुलिस को सुबह-सुबह एक bomb threat call मिली, जिसमें Thalapathy Vijay के Neelangarai स्थित घर को निशाना बनाया गया। कॉल करने वाले ने कहा कि अगर विजय भविष्य में कोई public meeting करेंगे तो उनके घर में बम लगाया जाएगा। पुलिस ने तुरंत investigation शुरू कर दी और caller की location ट्रेस करने की कोशिश कर रही है। सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है। यह धमकी हाल ही में Karur political rally में हुई stampede tragedy के बाद आई है, जिसमें 41 लोगों की मौत हुई थी। विजय ने प्रभावित परिवारों से संपर्क किया और सहायता का आश्वासन दिया। Watch Out
