Jesus the King and Savior of the Jews was not received by them because He came as one of them. This was made very clear when He went to Nazareth where He grew up and, despite performing miracles and preaching the full richness of the Gospel, He was rejected. But it is this rejection that He uses to save the Jews and all humanity.
