In the film ‘She Walks in Darkness’, Amaia is an undercover Civil Guard agent in the terrorist group ETA whose mission is to identify the hidden locations where weapons and explosives are stored.
This political thriller takes place during the "Operation Sanctuary", the largest covert operation against ETA, and is based on the real experiences of members of the State Security Forces who were involved in the fight against terrorism.
'She Walks in Darkness' is written and directed by Agustín Díaz Yanes with the producers of ‘The Society of the Snow’, Belén Atienza, Sandra Hermida, and Juan Antonio Bayona. The film, starring Susana Abaitua, Iraia Elias, Raúl Arévalo, Ariadna Gil, and Andrés Gertrúdix, on Netflix on October 17.
