Russia unleashed a massive overnight assault on Ukraine, launching over 300 drones and 37 missiles targeting homes, power grids, and rescue workers across multiple cities. From Sumy to Nizhyn, residential buildings, railway stations, and logistics centers were struck. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack as a strategy of "double terror", hitting civilians first, then striking again to injure emergency crews.
In response, Ukraine targeted Russia’s energy sector, confirming a drone strike on the Saratov oil refinery, one of Russia’s oldest and most vital oil processing facilities.
With cities burning and lives at risk, Ukraine’s resistance holds firm. But as this war escalates, one question remains: Will global pressure be enough to end the bloodshed?
