An Air China A321 was forced to make an emergency landing at Shanghai International Airport (SVG) after a fire broke out in the cabin, believed to have been caused by a lithium battery in a passenger's bag.
The incident comes after Chinese authorities imposed new restrictions this year on portable chargers and lithium batteries due to a recurring fire incident on aircraft.
